Part of the old cultural landscape is the Villa Harffen in the historic centre of Starnberg. It is one of the few original buildings of the most important villas in Bavaria.

The architecture has not changed so far, even today the original windows, doors and floors have been preserved. To meet today's standards, the electrical system, plumbing and heating were brought up to date.
