Description

This unique property is part of the old cultural landscape of Hamburg's merchant history. It is one of the few original preserved prestige objects in incomparable water location. In 1860, the renowned German-Swiss architect Auguste de Meuron created as one of his last works this Wilhelminian-style jewel. Already the carrara marble foyer with staircase to the upper floors impresses as you enter through the portal. The raised ground floor with an impressive ceiling height of 3.80 meters and the five spacious rooms which although combined with each other but also can be separated by large-format doors, is the sociable center of this prestigious villa. 

The two upper floors are accessed via the manorial marble staircase, which could be equipped for additional living comfort. The impressive atmosphere of the interior design also continues here. Because of the large-sized window of the upper floor, a unique panoramic view of the the Alster with the silhouette of hamburg city is ensured. The bangkirai-wood-laid terrace on the beletage invites you to relaxing moments with a wonderful view of the sailing entertaiment of the alster. Located in the bright basement, there is a garden-facing two-room apartment with private entrance, which can be excellently expand as an au pair or guest area.
