Description
The property consists of the 15th century Villa built in 1652 by Gottardo Frisiani, designed by Francesco Maria Richini, one of the most important Lombard architects of the time. Almost completely pre-existent to Richini's intervention, he integrates it into the most comprehensive design of the 17th century. Inside, the most important painting was made by the brothers Giovanni, Stefano and Giuseppe Montalto, who were living in Corbetta in 1656. The part of the villa for sale is more than 1,500 sqm and corresponds to the east wing facing the entrance garden. The villa develops on a ground floor, a first floor and a second floor, which has been recently renovated with high-end materials. The villa, upon request, can be divided into three independent apartments which correspond to the current division of the spaces: On the ground floor there are frescoed and unique lounges that include five large living rooms, three bathrooms, three kitchens and an internal courtyard with a veranda and a small private garden.
On the first floor, easily accessible by a frescoed 15th-century staircase, there is a large salon with fireplace and frescoes, which can also be found in the other four living rooms of the house. On the first floor there are also six bedrooms and six bathrooms.
On the second floor (attic) recently renovated, there are four living rooms, eight bedrooms and five bathrooms in an environment characterized by a modern design.
The property includes uncovered parking places, a large covered box and two carriage entrances.
