Carré D'or is a vibrant area of Nice which is in part pedestrianised. You’re one block back from the beach and the famous Negresco hotel. Walk down Rue de France and the street soon gets busier with pave-side cafés and restaurants and boutique and designer shops. A 5 minute walk and you’ll eventually arrive at Place Masséna across from which you’ll find Nices’ famous Old Town. This is a central location to enjoy this varied and lively city.
